We are seeking a firm of registered actuaries to support our client's post-employment medical benefits and long-term service awards. The appointed actuarial firm will be responsible for preparing annual financial statements in accordance with GRAP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare annual financial statements by May 31st each year, adhering to GRAP standards.
- Provide expert support in the preparation of AFS, incorporating actuarial analysis, narrative, and calculations.
- Perform actuarial analysis and calculations for post-employment medical benefits and long-service awards.
- Submit two actuarial reports for review and approval in electronic format.
- Offer expert advice on information, structure, analysis, and queries.
- Update AFS for employee benefit obligations disclosure.
Requirements
- Team leader or senior member must be registered with relevant Professional South African Bodies in the Actuary field.
- Previous experience in the Actuarial field, with references not older than five years.
- Detailed methodology showcasing understanding of scope and ability to render services.
- Project team with relevant qualifications and experience, including leadership and project management skills.
