Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Welder to join our team at SA Metal. This is a permanent position that requires the successful candidate to perform general welding on structures, trailers, trucks, and other equipment and machinery.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing existing components while working accurately and neatly, both in the workshop and onsite. They will work closely with the Boilermakers and must be proficient in all forms of welding.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant trade test certificate in Welding
  • Minimum 5-8 years' experience in a similar environment (Steel and/or Industrial)
  • Experience in pipe welding work
  • Extensive knowledge of power tools
  • Enjoy technical activities
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Rules
  • Ability to work under challenging conditions
  • Excellent communication skills

Working Hours and Salary
