Job Title: Data Analyst/Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst/Systems Administrator to join our team at Mérieux NutriSciences. As a trusted partner, our Public Health mission is to make food systems safer, healthier, and more sustainable.

About the Role

This role is pivotal in updating and maintaining company data across various systems, ensuring data accuracy, and providing critical data support to internal departments and clients. You will work closely with the Customer Care Manager and Sales Managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, analyze, and evaluate relevant company data
  • Write database queries using SQL
  • Provide support related to data and systems to all departments within the organization
  • Provide and maintain reports in the form of graphs, charts, and tables to Management
  • Liaise with clients to ensure that contractual requirements are met and that excellence in client service is consistently achieved
  • Liaise with system service providers to ensure uninterrupted business processes and productivity
Requirements
  • A technical qualification such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry will be an advantage
  • A Tertiary qualification in a commercial or quantitative discipline (for example Statistics, Mathematics, IT, Computer Science, or Economics)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • SQL knowledge
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in data models and reporting packages
  • Ability to analyze large datasets
  • Ability to write comprehensive reports
  • Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
