Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and laying out digital and print materials, ensuring that all artwork is accurate, visually appealing, and compliant with client corporate identity specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and layout digital and print materials, including leaflets, social media graphics, and point-of-sale materials.
  • Ensure that all artwork is accurate, visually appealing, and compliant with client corporate identity specifications.
  • Collaborate with the repro and technical team to determine detailed DTP job requirements.
  • Verify all content and information are accurate before beginning a job.
  • Produce and check proofs against required specifications before delivering to clients.
  • Make corrections as needed until client satisfaction is achieved.
  • Check color separations and overprint electronically.
  • Analyze, identify, and advise the technical team or repro supervisor of potential print issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in DTP and 10 years of relevant experience in DTP design/layout with a solid knowledge of the printing and digital industries.
  • Experience in creating leaflet layouts for retail groups.
  • Understanding of desktop publishing skills and techniques on an Apple Mac platform.
  • Proficiency in DTP software packages.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Open plan casual office space.
  • 40 hours a week (overtime as required).
  • 08:00 - 17:00
