Job Title: JavaScript Cloud Developer – HYBRID

We are seeking a highly skilled JavaScript Cloud Developer to join our team at E-Merge. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud-based applications using JavaScript and Node.js.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement full-stack applications using JavaScript, Node.js, and cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS.
  • Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications using cloud-based technologies.
  • Implement security and data protection measures to ensure the integrity of our applications.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Node.js Developer or related position.
  • Excellent knowledge of Node.js and frameworks such as NestJS.
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and Angular.
  • Solid expertise in using cloud platforms, including Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS.
  • Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processors, such as Less, and server-side templating languages, such as Handlebars.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, including Git and GitHub.
  • Solid expertise in PostgreSQL and Type ORM.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive cost-to-company salary of R900k per annum and a long-term contract/perm position with offices in Bryanston.
