  • This position requires a strong Operations Engineer with advanced skills and experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure, primarily on Azure.
  • The successful candidate will support the management and optimization of Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
  • In addition to this, the role involves helping set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
  • Responsibilities also include analyzing system performance metrics and logs to identify and report issues proactively.
  • Another critical aspect of this role is participating in on-call rotations and assisting in incident response efforts to troubleshoot and resolve outages or performance issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years' worth of experience using Docker, Python, Linux (Ubuntu preferred).
  • Rich experience with Container Orchestration Platforms e.g., Docker Compose.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts including Wi-Fi or ethernet configuration, DNS setup, SSH, troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Workflows.
  • Azure Cloud, Azure VMs.
  • Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service preferred.
