Job Summary:

The Millwright Casting Specialist will be responsible for ensuring optimum plant availability and efficiency by maintaining and repairing plant and equipment according to engineering specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance, faultfinding, and repairs on 32 automated high-pressure sanitary ware NIV casting machines (PLCs, VSDs, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics)
  • Maintenance, faultfinding, and repairs on KUKA robots (GAITTO)
  • Ensuring production targets and quality standards are met, supervision of plant operators, planning, and allocating work, and preparing production reports
  • Shift team leader: 33 people reporting directly on night shift and 9 people reporting directly to on day shift
  • Assist process controllers and quality controllers on all casting machines and KUKA robots
  • Initiating and conducting disciplinary hearings
  • Critical spare part management for allocated machine
  • Active involvement in the developing, implementing, and maintaining a preventative maintenance system
  • Ensure housekeeping and safety principles are always adhered to
