Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hospital Food Service Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of patient meal services. This includes menu selection, tray assembly, and delivery of food to assigned patients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient trays as assigned, including regularly scheduled meals, snacks, floor supplies, and NOW trays.
  • Load and push hot and cold food trucks to and from patient units. Transport various related equipment to appropriate areas.
  • Responsible for completing the menu rounds process for assigned patients to communicate menu system and record menu choices in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Retrieve all patient trays and deliver to the main kitchen. Clean and restock cart.
  • Utilize computerized menu planning system to generate current diet order lists.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must also be able to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods. Prior experience in a patient care capacity is highly preferred.
