Payroll Supervisor Job Description

Hire Resolve's client, a leading player in the mining industry, is seeking a skilled Payroll Supervisor to oversee the precision and timeliness of payroll operations. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processes while leading a dedicated payroll team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise payroll processing for all mining personnel, ensuring accurate and timely payments
  • Lead and develop a team of payroll specialists, providing mentorship and guidance
  • Ensure adherence to relevant labor laws and company policies
  • Conduct payroll audits and resolve any discrepancies swiftly
  • Prepare and analyze payroll reports to enhance process efficiency
  • Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments
Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in the mining industry
  • Strong knowledge of SAP payroll systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Valid Driver's License
