Electrical Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Manager to lead our building sector consulting services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing electrical design and project management within the building consulting services sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee projects from concept through to closeout, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Develop electrical designs and specifications for lightning, power, lightning protection systems, and PV installations.
  • Prepare tender Bills of Quantities and manage the entire tender process.
  • Utilize AutoCAD for schematic layouts of distribution boards and MCCs (Motor Control Centers).
  • Write professional reports and maintain communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct site, project, office, and technical meetings, keeping detailed minutes.
  • Engage in marketing and business development activities to secure new projects.
Requirements:
  • BEng or BTech in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of consulting services experience in the building sector.
  • Hands-on experience in electrical design, including power and lighting systems.
  • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, technical staff, and financial aspects of projects.
  • Proficient in creating detailed schematics for electrical systems.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, including report writing and professional correspondence.
