We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Aircraft Stress Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge aircraft design and ensure the structural integrity and safety of our products. You will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and certification of aerospace components and systems.

Job Description
  • Aircraft Stress Analysis Expertise
    • Perform static, fatigue, and dynamic stress analysis on aircraft structures and components.
    • Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulations.
    • Work closely with the design, manufacturing, and certification teams to resolve structural issues.
    • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical direction and support.
    • Develop and implement best practices for structural analysis.
    • Ensure that all analyses are completed on time, within budget, and meet safety standards.
    • Provide technical reports and presentations to both internal stakeholders and customers.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience (5+ years) in aircraft stress analysis, particularly on civil or military aircraft.
    • Proficiency in stress analysis tools such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, or similar.
    • Extensive experience with FEM (Finite Element Method) analysis and hand calculations.
    • Solid understanding of aerospace standards, including FAA/EASA certification processes.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Experience with composites and metallic materials in aerospace applications is a plus.
Salary

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
