**The Hiring House is seeking a Mechanical Systems Engineer**

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and integration of complex mechanical systems within powerplants.

Job Description

As a Mechanical Systems Engineer at The Hiring House, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (Siemens NX). You will collaborate with other engineers to ensure design integrity and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Analysis: Utilize CAD software to create 3D models and 2D drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
  • System Integration: Understand the integration of mechanical, electrical, and software systems within powerplants, assisting in the development of system tests and troubleshooting issues.
  • Manufacturing and Production: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design manufacturability, supporting the development of manufacturing documentation and work instructions.
  • System Oversight: Support the engineering team in maintaining system configuration during development and the introduction of new powerplant options, ensuring system integrity and performance.

Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of industry experience, preferably in the aerospace or automotive industry.
  • Experience with power plants, thermodynamics, or propulsion systems is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Siemens NX.
  • Understanding of mechanical design principles and testing techniques.
  • Experience with data analysis and programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tolerances.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Qualification and/or professional license(s)
  • B-Tech in Mechanical Discipline or higher
