The ideal candidate will be proficient in stakeholder engagement and committee coordination, with knowledge of aviation security regulations and practices. They will be responsible for managing activities of the National Aviation Security Committee (NASC), Facilitation Committee, and engagement with ICAO and AFCAC workgroups.

  • Responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and documentation, and managing logistical arrangements.
  • They will also act as the liaison between internal and external committees, disseminating decisions and facilitating communication.
  • In addition, they will provide secretarial and administrative support, including record-keeping and reporting.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the aviation industry, with a minimum of a National Diploma or relevant NQF Level 6 qualification. They will also have experience in stakeholder relations or aviation committee work, with a preference for a diploma in Aviation Security or relevant degree.
