**Job Title:** CNC Milling Machinist Leader

Aumic Engineering is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist Leader to oversee our machining operations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining, with expertise in EdgeCam and Fanuc manual programming. They will be responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing production efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Programming and setting up HURCO VM10i & HURCO VM20i machines using EdgeCam or manual Fanuc programming.
  • Operating HURCO VM10i / HURCO VM20i/ Victor 1020 machines as required.
  • Overseeing operators to ensure setup timers are used correctly and parameters remain within tolerances.
  • Ensuring operators are using the correct feeds and speeds for optimal machining results.
  • Supervising operator administration, including QC sheets, count sheets, and timers.
  • Monitoring job quality throughout the machining process.

**Administrative Responsibilities:**

  • Participating in the pre-planning process, reviewing completed job card packs and verifying tooling and equipment readiness.
  • Assisting in quote compilation by supplying accurate machine process times.
  • Analysing count sheets while jobs are in progress.

**Workshop Floor Management:**

  • Overseeing movements within the Controlled Storeroom, Tool Room, and Oil Stores.
  • Ensuring machine maintenance is performed as per daily, monthly, bi-annual, and annual schedules, with proper documentation.
