We are seeking a skilled Bim Modeller to join our team of experts in Mechanical Building Services. This role involves routine, structured work in a required discipline, with the ability to take on more complex tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate will be an intermediate user in Autodesk Revit Software (Buildings) and have the ability to draw/model with limited supervision. They should also be proficient in other core discipline-specific software, such as NavisWorks, and have knowledge of AECOM standard modeling practices and procedures.

This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Level 3 QA/QC checks on discipline models, maintaining and adhering to AECOM and project-specific filing systems, and adhering to the project BIM Execution Plan.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform BIM upskilling of resources.
  2. Assist BIM Manager with content creation and standard enforcement.
  3. Perform Level 3 QA/QC checks on discipline models.
  4. Able to work with minimal supervision, efficiently schedule and manage time.
  5. Ability to read and understand construction documents.
  6. Familiar with design parameters related to discipline-specific requirements.
  7. Knowledge of AECOM standard modeling practices and procedures.
  8. Maintain and adhere to AECOM and project-specific filing systems.
  9. Adhere to the project BIM Execution Plan (including defined project standards).
  10. Develop BIM content based on BIM Modeling standards.
  11. Take ownership and responsibility for own work.
  12. Ensure accuracy and quality of discipline models.
  13. Develop constituent parts of the Information Model in connection with specific tasks.
  14. Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
  15. Collaborate and communicate with other disciplines regarding coordination issues and common model development tasks.
  16. Work within a team on single or multidisciplinary projects.
  17. Maintain awareness of compliance to safety and quality standards and integration of design.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Mechanical Building services utilizing Revit, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Preferred candidates will have a certification or qualification in Mechanical built environment studies.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a BIM environment.
  • Preferred certification in Revit.
  • General understanding of integrated architectural and engineering practices.
