Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including financial modeling and analysis.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, CA(SA).
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance within the insurance industry.
  • 2-3 years IFRS17 experience.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
