We are seeking a Senior Commissioning and Governance Specialist to join our team at First Clinical Ltd. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policy and procedure across assigned areas. Your expertise will be essential in creating briefings, commissioning plans, business strategies, and resource allocation frameworks.
In this position, you will propose, draft, implement, and interpret changes to policies, guidelines, and service level agreements. You will also suggest changes and make recommendations for the delivery of various projects. Your knowledge of Public Health research and collaboration with the health and care system and local health authorities will be invaluable in developing policy and service development for the service.
You will ensure timely delivery of projects and initiatives, meeting quality standards and staying within budget. Additionally, you will oversee strategic planning for Directorate projects, identifying interdependencies, assessing potential impacts on the wider organisation, determining resource needs, and building in contingency plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop policy and procedure in assigned areas.
- Propose, draft, implement, and interpret changes to policies, guidelines, and service level agreements.
- Suggest changes and make recommendations for the delivery of various projects.
- Develop policy and service development for the service based on Public Health research and collaboration with the health and care system and local health authorities.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects and initiatives, meeting quality standards and staying within budget.
- Oversee strategic planning for Directorate projects.
