At West Coast Personnel, we require a dedicated Fleet Controller to oversee the coordination and management of abnormal and heavy haulage operations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, ensuring efficient logistics planning and execution, as well as a deep understanding of industry regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling and managing load movements in collaboration with drivers and transport providers;
  • Real-time monitoring of fleet activity to optimize efficiency and productivity;
  • Customer liaison to meet transportation requirements and resolve any arising issues;
  • Maintenance of accurate records and reports to track fleet performance and identify areas for improvement;

Essential qualifications include a minimum of Grade 12 (High School Diploma or equivalent), industry experience in abnormal/heavy haulage, advanced computer literacy, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Navis software is advantageous. A valid driver's license is also required.

Deseable skills include strong time management and problem-solving abilities, ability to perform under pressure, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and self-motivation with a strong personality.
