Job Summary

Growth House seeks an exceptional Senior Director of Financial Strategy to spearhead the development and implementation of our financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives. Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy & Planning

The ideal candidate will develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy that supports sustainable growth and long-term success. This involves:

  • Developing and Implementing Financial Strategies: Create and execute financial plans that align with business objectives, leveraging expertise in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Overseeing Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Planning Processes: Ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes are in place, providing insight into potential challenges and opportunities.
  • Evaluating and Managing Financial Risks: Identify and mitigate financial risks, providing strategic input and support decision-making with actionable insights.
  • Financial Management & Operations

The Senior Director of Financial Strategy will oversee financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and related systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring Compliance with Legal and Regulatory Requirements: Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Overseeing Financial Systems and Processes: Optimize financial operations by developing and implementing effective systems and processes.
  • Leadership & Team Development

This role demands strong leadership and collaboration skills to build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team. The successful candidate will:

  • Foster a High-Performance Culture: Encourage teamwork, accountability, and professional growth within the finance team.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other department heads to support cross-functional initiatives and maintain financial integrity across the organization.
  • Corporate Governance & Compliance

The Senior Director of Financial Strategy will ensure the organization's compliance with all financial regulations, internal controls, and corporate policies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining Corporate Governance Standards: Enhance corporate governance standards, including risk management and internal audit functions.
  • Monitoring Changes in Legislation and Regulatory Requirements: Stay up-to-date with changing legislation and regulatory requirements, adjusting financial practices accordingly.
Requirements
  • Education: Chartered Accountant or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration.
  • Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the financial service industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in financial management software, ERP systems, and advanced knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to think long-term, with a proven track record of contributing to business strategy and driving sustainable growth.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Estimated Salary: $200,000 - $300,000 per annum
