Job Title: Armed/Tactical Response Officer

At The Legends Agency, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed/Tactical Response Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security operations, you will be responsible for providing armed protection, quick emergency response, and ensuring the safety of our clients, properties, or assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Armed Security Patrols: Conduct regular patrols in assigned areas, monitoring and ensuring the security of premises, responding to suspicious activities or breaches.
  • Rapid Response to Incidents: Respond quickly to emergency alarms, armed intrusions, or distress signals from clients, evaluating the situation and deciding on necessary actions, including contacting law enforcement or additional support.
  • Armed Protection and Firearms Handling: Maintain and carry legal firearms at all times while on duty, ensuring proper use and management according to South African laws and regulations (PSIRA regulations).
  • Technical Surveillance: Use advanced security equipment such as CCTV systems, alarm systems, access control systems, and other electronic security measures, monitoring live security feeds to detect, assess, and act on potential threats.
  • Client Liaison and Communication: Maintain constant communication with clients, ensuring their safety concerns are addressed promptly, preparing detailed reports on security incidents, response activities, and ongoing risks.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • Own reliable transport
  • Clear criminal record
