Role Overview

This role is responsible for managing the financial aspects of our business, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting. The successful candidate will work closely with our finance team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of our financial records.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the General Ledger up to Trial Balance, providing a comprehensive view of our financial performance.
  • Review and approve Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, maintaining control over our financial transactions and ensuring timely payments.
  • Manage bank accounts and cash books, ensuring our financial stability and liquidity, and making informed decisions about cash management.
  • Prepare the daily bank account movement report and short-term cash flow predictions, supporting informed business decisions and minimizing cash flow risks.
  • Manage Forex requirements and processing, minimizing currency risks and maximizing returns on foreign exchange transactions.
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset register, ensuring accuracy and completeness of asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation entries, and maximizing asset utilization.
  • Ensure all journal entries have been approved and processed each month, maintaining financial integrity and accuracy, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Reconcile and prepare the monthly VAT return, adhering to tax regulations and minimizing liabilities, and ensuring accurate tax reporting.
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors, providing necessary information and resolving queries, and maintaining a positive relationship with audit teams.
  • Perform various ad-hoc functions and submissions, supporting the organization's goals and objectives, and contributing to the overall success of the business.
