Information Security Engineer

- Proficient in troubleshooting AV and/or EDR & NGAV technologies
- Experience in customer support
- Familiarity with SLA service delivery
- Knowledge of ITIL Version 3 processes
- Experience with email security solutions
- Oversee console management, server administration, troubleshooting, malware analysis, vulnerability remediation, data analytics reporting, and incident response.
- Deliver technical support, including management and administration of security application software.
- Conduct daily maintenance tasks to ensure compliance of systems, agents, and endpoints.
- Manage groups and establish policies/rules related to email security and other AV/EDR and NGAV solutions.
- Cross-training in additional endpoint technologies will be necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of security systems configurations, including As-Built Configuration documentation and maintenance tasks.
- Stay informed about the latest security threats, exploits, and vulnerabilities, applying this knowledge to the client environment as needed.
- Investigate escalated security events and provide reports on risks and vulnerabilities with recommended actions.
- In the event of virus detection, initiate prompt actions to restore infected endpoints to their original state, adhering to service levels.
- Ensure version upgrades and patch updates are performed according to OEM recommendations, subject to client change control approval.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of the ITIL Version 3 framework, including Incident Management, Service Request fulfillment, Change Management, and Release Management.
- Ensure that third-level support calls with OEMs are logged and resolved according to OEM resolution guidelines and client support levels.
- Compile and submit Root Cause Analysis reports as per SLA requirements with assistance from senior engineers (Problem Management).
- Provide customer SLA reports or contribute to SLA report inputs.
- Familiarity with CISCO XDR/EDR, QRADAR, IAM solutions, and CISCO Firepower.
- Experience with other relevant industry tools and applications.
