The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in flavour creation and development. The successful individual will be responsible for creating new and innovative flavour profiles, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop integrated flavour solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create unique and exciting flavour experiences that meet customer needs
  • Collaborate with sensory scientists, production teams, and suppliers to ensure goals are met
  • Develop flavours that meet all regulatory guidelines and restrictions
  • Work with the flavour analytical group to ensure high-quality flavour products
  • Have a good understanding of GC/MS and other industry standards for flavour analysis
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
  • 5+ years of active flavour work on the bench
  • Strong background in organic chemistry, food chemistry, and flavour applications
  • Good math skills for problem-solving calculations
  • Strong trouble-shooting skills
  • Strong and discerning sense of smell and taste
