Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Company Overview: Clicks Group Limited is a leading health and beauty retailer in South Africa.

About the Role: We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at our store in Pongola and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, executing operational activities, and maintaining high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To deliver exceptional customer service by being visible and offering a friendly and professional service.
  2. To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment for goods purchased.
  4. To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
  5. To proactively promote the Clicks' clubcard and enroll new clubcard members to achieve participation targets.
  6. To make customers aware of promotions to positively affect sales and ensure customers feel good and pay less.
  7. To deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador and offering a friendly and professional service.
  8. To efficiently execute and maintain all merchandising and general housekeeping duties according to store and visual merchandise standards.
  9. To support the Group's vision to be the customer's first choice health and beauty retailer by living and driving the company values.
  10. To maintain updated knowledge on products, ranges, promotions, and events to provide correct information to customers.

Requirements:

  1. Retail/FMCG background and understanding of merchandising and promotions principles.
  2. Basic maths calculations.
  3. Understanding of stock management procedures.
  4. Knowledge of customer service excellence.
