About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team in Cape Town. As a member of an established tax services team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients across various industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a portfolio of clients for tax compliance matters.
  • Preparing VAT returns and registration/de-registration forms for clients, while reviewing compliance tasks completed by colleagues.
  • Conducting VAT reviews as part of our auditing process.
  • Delivering high-quality work and adhering to deadlines.
  • Demonstrating strong client service skills, ability to work independently, collaborate in a team, and negotiate effectively.
  • Possessing excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.

Requirements:

  • Between 3 and 4 years of total experience.
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment and dealing with HMRC would be advantageous.
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of clients would be advantageous.
  • Experience of providing tax compliance work is required.
  • Microsoft Office experience required (particularly Excel).

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of R30 000 - R45 000 per month.
  • A dynamic and supportive work environment.
