Job Summary

The Recruitment Guy is seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation and maintenance of telecommunications networks, with a strong focus on fibre infrastructure.

This role involves working at heights, climbing towers, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of communication systems.

About the Role:

  • Install, maintain, and repair fibre optic cables and equipment
  • Climb towers and structures to inspect and repair communication systems
  • Work at heights daily, up to 50 meters or more, with a load of up to 20kg
  • Analyse situations accurately, identifying potential future risk factors that may influence the performance of the high site
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Erect self-supporting and stayed masts

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of industry experience
  • Driver's license (off-road driving experience advantageous)
  • Up-to-date medical certificate
  • Working at Heights and Tower Rescue Training
  • Physically fit to climb towers, carry equipment, and work in various environmental conditions
