Job Title: Commercial Litigation Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Litigation Specialist to join our team at the Pretoria branch.

About the Role:
  • High Court Appearance
  • Commercial matters and Litigation
  • Experience in building law and liquidations
  • Handle all aspects of litigation including depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
  • Manage a litigation caseload from inception to completion
  • Be able to effectively manage multiple clients and matters
  • Conduct excellent legal research and provide thoughtful written analyses of legal questions
  • Draft motions and briefs
  • Work closely with other attorneys to provide recommendations for resolving legal issues
  • Provide professional and timely updates on cases to clients
  • Develop case strategies and projections
Key Requirements:
  • LLB Degree and Admission as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa
  • 10 years experience (preferred)
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • High Court Experience
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • A proactive and solution-driven approach to legal challenges.
  • Bilingual in Afrikaans and English
  • Drivers licence
