Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead the development, implementation, and maintenance of Human Capital (HC) systems that align with HC objectives and leverage technology to meet business needs.

This position serves as a key lead for the HC Global Services Business Systems team, driving the management and development of cutting-edge HC Operations within Neptune.

The role involves managing direct reports and championing innovative process enhancements to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness within the HC function.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Direction: Develop and provide strategic & tactical direction to the HC Information Systems team, ensuring effective management and ownership of the entire HC Digital platform.
  2. Stay Up-to-Date: Stay abreast of HC technology best practices and changing technologies to maintain domain expertise and make recommendations for enhancements or changes based on the HC Systems landscape.
  3. Collaboration: Collaborate with the IT Support services team to establish a design practice for Human Capital that embeds a customer-centric culture.
  4. Innovation: Drive HC value chain innovation.
  5. Risk Mitigation: Advise on the implementation of risk mitigating initiatives within the HC digital technology solution implementation processes.
  6. Alignment: Facilitate collaboration between HC requirements, business design, employee design, and group strategy for alignment of objectives.
  7. Leadership: Serve as a leader and hands-on technical expert for HCIS, helping build and execute a technology roadmap that balances strategic and operational needs of HC and supports the HC Technology and Services strategy with the centralized service model.
  8. Digital Transformation: Lead the digital HC transformation to change and modernize the HC landscape and ways of working, delivering an employee experience that differentiates and strengthens Neptune's employer brand.
  9. Project Management: Participate in the end-to-end project schedule for system upgrades/implementation from requirements gathering, UAT, user training, and system go-live preparations.
  10. Project Evaluation: Lead HC digital projects and support in the evaluation and implementation of these.
  11. Integration: Partner with the Information Technology team to effectively integrate with and support HC systems.
  12. Vendor Management: Manage vendors.
  13. Financial Management: Manage financial aspects.
  14. Team Management: Manage the HC Technology team.
