Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer payments and maintain accurate records in the customer ledger.
  • Regularly follow up with customers to ensure timely payment and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and send customer ledger statements and balance confirmation letters.
  • Coordinate with customers to resolve any issues related to payments or accounts.
  • Support the finance manager in preparing documentation for SAB 104 calculations and export consignments.
  • Process accounts payable and ensure accurate booking of bills in the SAP environment.
  • Accrue expenses and prepare schedules for payment of vendors.
  • Prepare and send debtors and creditors aging reports to the finance manager.
  • Apply payments to accounts payable bills and ensure accurate recording.
  • Maintain fixed assets register and perform monthly depreciation runs.
  • Account for asset transfers and sales, as well as capital work in progress.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and support the finance manager during audits.
  • Support the finance manager in preparing VAT filings and physical inventory verifications.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
