Join Our Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Furnace Operator to join our team at Mintek Pty Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of laboratory and pilot-scale furnace facilities in our Pyrometallurgy Division.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for logistics and operational issues related to the commissioning, maintenance, and operation of laboratory and pilot-scale furnace facilities.
  • Prepare equipment and facilities for use and check the operability of standard equipment and furnace facilities.
  • Operate laboratory and pilot-scale furnace equipment with minimum supervision.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the operation of relevant environment, operating furnaces and/or high-temperature equipment.
  • Ability to handle and process solid and molten materials in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Knowledge or experience with SHEQ systems is non-negotiable.
