Role Overview

The General Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and retention within the Automotive sector. This position requires an individual with deep knowledge of Operations, HR, IT, Finance, and Sales to effectively manage Key Account Managers for automotive accounts.

Focused on expanding into other business units, the successful candidate will be responsible for retaining existing clients while targeting new opportunities to achieve ambitious growth targets.

An effective General Manager drives sales performance to meet business objectives, making strategic decisions to optimize team performance and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Commercial management, including tender submissions, revenue monitoring, budgeting, and debtor management.
  2. Team leadership, ensuring high-performing teams that drive business success.
  3. Governance, Compliance, and Reporting, maintaining accurate records and adhering to industry standards.
  4. Relationship management, building strong partnerships with customers and stakeholders.
  5. Solution Design, delivering innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
Key Requirements:
  1. A National Diploma in a relevant field, coupled with at least 10 years of experience in Automotive end-to-end Supply Chain.
  2. A minimum of 3 years in Automotive logistics or solution selling, demonstrating expertise in this field.
  3. Advanced MS Office skills, with proficiency in key software applications.
  4. A reliable vehicle for business use.
