Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead a team of inventory controllers, setting clear performance goals, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
    • Foster a productive team environment that promotes collaboration and open communication.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain and roll out inventory control procedures, policies, and best practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
    • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to optimize processes.
  • Coordination and Communication:
    • Collaborate with branches to ensure seamless inventory flow, including purchase order processes and lead times.
    • Maintain effective communication between controllers and branches to ensure compliance with company procedures and rules.
  • Process Optimization:
    • Identify bottlenecks and streamline workflows to improve productivity and reduce errors.
    • Suggest automation where applicable to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Maintain and update completed purchase order statistics, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Provide insights to management regarding inventory controllers' performance and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and other relevant documentation.
    • Ensure documentation uploads are complete and accurate, confirming and spot-checking controller uploads.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
