Job Overview

The Order Processing Manager position at Stafflink Recruitment Solutions presents an exciting opportunity to oversee the end-to-end order management process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of internal sales and electronic sales (EDI) transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receipt, processing, and fulfillment of customer orders through internal sales channels and EDI platforms
  • Accurate entry of orders into the system and processing within agreed service levels
  • Management of order modifications, cancellations, and returns while maintaining accurate records
  • Closely working with warehouse and logistics teams for timely order fulfillment and shipment
  • Inventory level monitoring and coordination with supply chain teams to prevent stock shortages or overages
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Management:
  • Maintenance and management of EDI transactions for seamless integration between internal systems and external partners
  • Troubleshooting EDI-related errors and resolving issues in collaboration with IT and third-party providers
  • Monitoring EDI system performance and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer-specific EDI requirements
Internal Sales & Customer Support:
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for internal sales order inquiries, providing timely responses and resolutions
  • Collaborating with the sales team to address customer needs, pricing discrepancies, and special order requests
  • Supporting internal teams with order status updates, backorder management, and issue resolution
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and order history in the CRM or ERP system
Process Optimization & Reporting:
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline order processing and EDI functions
  • Developing and maintaining order management KPIs, providing regular reports on order accuracy, fulfillment rates, and EDI performance
  • Working closely with IT and operations teams to enhance system automation and integration
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in order management, internal sales, or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of EDI systems and order processing workflows
  • Proficiency in ERP and CRM systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms preferred)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
