About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated educator to teach and lecture in tourism studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering modules in line with module pacers, engaging students, and tracking student progress.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for teaching and learning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving circumstances.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Teach and lecture in tourism studies, adhering to module-specific requirements and guidelines.
  2. Engage students through various teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, and assessments.
  3. Track student progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide targeted support.
  4. Collaborate with the Central Academic Team to develop assessments and ensure quality control.
  5. Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism or a related field (NQF level 7). Postgraduate studies in Tourism are highly desirable.
  • Qualification in Education (PGCE or equivalent) or Training and Development is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in teaching and learning, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Familiarity with digitalized academic environments and learning management systems.
