We are seeking a qualified and experienced Post Basic Qualified Pharmacist Assistant to join our team at Dis-Chem Baywest store. Your primary responsibility will be to provide pharmaceutical care to patients by taking ownership of their medicine-related needs and ensuring these needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the sale, compounding, manipulation, and preparation of medicines according to approved procedures.
- Support the distribution and control of stock, ordering of medicines, and accurate interpretation of prescriptions.
- Provide professional guidance to patients regarding the use of prescribed medication.
- Maintain accurate records, process paperwork for claims submissions, and follow up on script tracking reports.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Post Basic Qualified Pharmacist Assistance qualification.
- Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
- Working experience on Unisolv and computer literacy in MS Office.
- Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
