We are seeking a skilled Nursing Professional to join our team at Dymaxa Recruitment. The successful candidate will be based in the Helderberg area and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents of an old age home.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for taking over day and night report, instructing staff with regards to tasks, conducting daily rounds by the residents, reporting to the Manager regarding the status of the residents, and inputting regarding nutritional needs of the residents.
The ideal candidate will also be responsible for timeous referral to relevant services, updating and adjusting care plans where necessary, accompanying the Doctor on rounds, and immediately executing instructions.
In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting vital signs, recording vital signs, checking emergency equipment weekly and after use, compiling care plans according to the nursing process, and maintaining infection prevention control.
The candidate must also adhere to all protocols and procedures, supervise and train staff in correct use of resources, and attend all training provided by management.
