Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily laboratory operations and staff to enhance product quality and innovation.
  2. Ensure compliance with industry standards and drive cost reduction through new product development.
  3. Collaborate with senior management to optimize production and profitability.
  4. Investigate deviations from specifications and rectify problems to meet agreed standards.
  5. Manage assigned projects and provide technical support to the manufacturing plant.
  6. Publish progress reports and present technical solutions to customers.
  7. Visit customer sites and provide expert advice.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A chemistry or polymer science qualification is preferred, but extensive hands-on experience in a related laboratory setting is essential. Previous experience as a Technical Manager/Chemist in the chemical or related industries is also required.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in scientific methods, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Good management skills, multitasking ability, and computer literacy are also essential.
