We seek a seasoned SHEQ expert to drive compliance, enhance systems, and ensure seamless implementation of SHEQ standards across our manufacturing environment. As a Risk Management and Compliance Specialist, you will be instrumental in leading audits, developing training programs, and maintaining sustainability while adding significant business value.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead cross-functional teams, develop training programs, and maintain risk tracking systems. You will work closely with our team to ensure certification readiness, conduct internal and external audits, and support new product development and commercialization processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and maintain SHEQ and related business systems (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18000, NOSA, KORE, etc.)
- Lead and coordinate internal and external audits to ensure full compliance with industry and legal requirements
- Develop and deliver SHEQ training programs and build organizational capability through leadership and development
- Compile monthly SHEQ reports and maintain risk tracking systems to ensure sustainability
- Support the New Product Development (NPD) and commercialisation process to add business value
- National Diploma in Food Technology or related qualification (essential)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in SHEQ systems within the bottling or food manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of ISO, KORE, NOSA, and GMP practices
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SHEQ management systems such as Achiever Plus is advantageous
- Lead Auditor or SHEQ systems training (preferred)
- Willingness to travel between manufacturing sites to ensure compliance
