Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Faircape Health. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive Occupational Therapy services to our residents in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct intervention tasks such as assessment, intervention planning, and implementation.
  • Develop individualized programs to stimulate and motivate residents, tailored to their unique needs and goals.
  • Organize and lead support groups to foster community and mutual encouragement among our residents and their families.
  • Plan and execute special events that enhance resident experiences and community engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure smooth administrative operations.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy and registered as an Occupational Therapist with HPCSA.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in Geriatrics, Dementia, or mental health.
  • Skills: Clinical expertise, proficiency in assessment, and diagnosis, as well as excellent communication skills.

Working hours are from Mondays to Fridays, 08h00 to 17h00. A competitive salary of R 28 000 Cost to Company per month will be offered, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills. Interested candidates should submit their applications for consideration.
