Job Title:
Management Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team at Architectural Services. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the financial performance of our company.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for creating and capturing various journals, as well as ensuring that payments are allocated timeously. Additionally, you will process Mercantile Debit Order unpaids and reconcile between SuiteAcc and Cash Book, update the daily cash flow for all bank accounts, and complete balance sheet reconciliations after month end.

You will also review income statement analysis to ensure that all expenses have been recorded for the month or where needed, and an accrual raised if necessary. Furthermore, you will identify new expenses in the income statement analysis and obtain an understanding of the nature and timing of the expense.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creation and capturing of various journals.
