Chep is a leading provider of supply chain solutions, and we are currently seeking an experienced Regional Internal Auditor to join our team in the Eastern Cape.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits at service centres, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to management. This is a unique opportunity to work with a global organization, leveraging your skills and experience to drive business growth and profitability.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits at service centres, ensuring compliance with internal audit plans and policies;
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to management;
  • Investigate and address any issues or concerns raised during audits;
  • Prepare and present reports to management, outlining findings and recommendations;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Accounting or auditing degree;
  • Minimum 2 years of audit experience;
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulatory requirements;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficient in computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Office.
