We are looking for a highly skilled SHEQ Manager to join our team in Mpumalanga.

Job Description

The SHEQ Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SHEQ policies and procedures, conducting regular site inspections and audits, and collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective SHEQ policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulations.
  2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  3. Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all worker injury documentation and provide support in the post-accident/injury treatment process.
  5. Lead on-site HSE training programs designed to motivate field personnel and improve overall performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Safety Management, Environmental Health, or Environmental Science, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in monitoring, implementing, and auditing SHERQ in a power plant or process plant environment.
  • SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, or equivalent certification.
  • Knowledge of ISO, OHSAS, and other relevant regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
