Insurance Business Development Associate for Limpopo and Plettenberg Bay

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Business Development Associate to join our team at SET Recruitment Consultants. This exciting opportunity is based in either Limpopo or Plettenberg Bay and will focus on developing and growing our personal and commercial lines business.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing assistance to our existing Advisors, ensuring seamless delivery of services to our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering and Compiling Policy Information - You will be responsible for gathering and compiling policy information, ensuring that all necessary details are accurately documented.
  • Handling New Applications and Quotations - You will handle new applications and quotations, working closely with our Advisors to ensure timely and accurate responses to clients.
  • Client Enquiries and Support - You will be the primary point of contact for client enquiries, providing prompt and effective support to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Administrative Documentation and Record-Keeping - You will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate and detailed records of client interactions, policy information, and other relevant data.
  • Building and Maintaining Relationships - You will build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, Advisors, and other stakeholders, ensuring open communication and collaboration.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Grade 12 - You must have a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Computer Literacy - You must be highly computer literate, with proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • RE 5 Examination - You must have successfully completed the RE 5 Examination (Representatives) or be willing to complete it.
  • NQF Level 4 Short Term Insurance Qualification - You must have a NQF Level 4 Short Term Insurance qualification or be studying towards it.
  • Insurance Industry Experience - You must have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience working in the Insurance industry.
  • Service Level Agreement Deadlines - You must be able to maintain Service Level Agreement deadlines and manage policy renewals effectively.

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is between R250,000 and R350,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
