Sales Growth Specialist

Manpower Group SA (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Sales Growth Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate would be responsible for expanding the company's market share by acquiring new business accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile target lists based on sales plans to identify potential clients and prospects.
- Develop new business pipelines through strategic networking and relationship-building.
- Create action plans to effectively search for sales leads and prospects, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion.
- Penetrate new markets by initiating and coordinating development of action plans, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Prepare and conduct proposal presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and value proposition of our services.
- Achieve new business sales targets in line with sales plans, exceeding expectations and driving revenue growth.
- Provide exceptional after-sales service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, increasing revenue and profit margins.
- Maintain regular contact with stakeholders, including clients, insurers, and partners, to build strong relationships and drive business growth.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric certification.
- Level 4 FETC Short-term Insurance Qualification.
- Passed FAIS Regulatory Exam.
- Higher Certificate in Insurance.
- Post-matric qualification in Risk Management, Accounting, or Business Administration is advantageous.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in short-term insurance, with at least 5 years in commercial sales and service capacity in a broking environment.
- Experience in writing medium to large commercial accounts.
- Successful new business acquisitions and revenue growth.
- Strong customer liaison skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Experience working in a brokerage environment is beneficial.
- Business acumen, with understanding of economic environment and financial opportunities.
- Influencing and negotiation skills.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Effective communication and delegation skills.
- Analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
- Networking and presentation skills.
- Report writing and decision-making skills.
- Time management and selling skills.
- Ability to manage own work and outputs.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Industry knowledge: insurance and brokerage industry, legal requirements, marketing and sales principles.
- Product knowledge: commercial insurance products and services.
- Technical knowledge: underwriting criteria and risk assessment.
- Soft skills: influencing, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building.
