Manpower Group SA (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Sales Growth Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate would be responsible for expanding the company's market share by acquiring new business accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compile target lists based on sales plans to identify potential clients and prospects.
  2. Develop new business pipelines through strategic networking and relationship-building.
  3. Create action plans to effectively search for sales leads and prospects, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion.
  4. Penetrate new markets by initiating and coordinating development of action plans, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  5. Prepare and conduct proposal presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and value proposition of our services.
  6. Achieve new business sales targets in line with sales plans, exceeding expectations and driving revenue growth.
  7. Provide exceptional after-sales service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  8. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, increasing revenue and profit margins.
  9. Maintain regular contact with stakeholders, including clients, insurers, and partners, to build strong relationships and drive business growth.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Matric certification.
  2. Level 4 FETC Short-term Insurance Qualification.
  3. Passed FAIS Regulatory Exam.
  4. Higher Certificate in Insurance.
  5. Post-matric qualification in Risk Management, Accounting, or Business Administration is advantageous.
  6. Minimum 7 years' experience in short-term insurance, with at least 5 years in commercial sales and service capacity in a broking environment.
  7. Experience in writing medium to large commercial accounts.
  8. Successful new business acquisitions and revenue growth.
  9. Strong customer liaison skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships.
  10. Experience working in a brokerage environment is beneficial.
  11. Business acumen, with understanding of economic environment and financial opportunities.
  12. Influencing and negotiation skills.
  13. Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software applications.
  14. Effective communication and delegation skills.
  15. Analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
  16. Networking and presentation skills.
  17. Report writing and decision-making skills.
  18. Time management and selling skills.
  19. Ability to manage own work and outputs.

Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Industry knowledge: insurance and brokerage industry, legal requirements, marketing and sales principles.
  2. Product knowledge: commercial insurance products and services.
  3. Technical knowledge: underwriting criteria and risk assessment.
  4. Soft skills: influencing, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building.
