We are seeking a skilled Millwright with a passion for ensuring optimal plant performance to join our dynamic team in the Western Cape. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out routine and preventative maintenance on all allocated equipment, machinery, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out routine and preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facilities
  • Maintenance during shutdown periods
  • Responding to emergency machine breakdowns
  • Operating machining equipment to manufacture parts and spares

In this challenging role, your expertise will be crucial in improving automation and maintaining electrical control systems. To excel, you should have a Qualified Trade Certificate as a Millwright, with a minimum of 3-5 years of plant maintenance experience and 2-3 years of turning and machining experience. Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment would be advantageous, as would skills in welding and tool/parts management.

Strong mechanical knowledge, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a team-player mentality are essential to thrive in this position. You will be part of a team where your skills can truly make a difference.
