Content Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Copywriter to join our in-house creative team at iKhokha. As a Senior Copywriter, you will be responsible for developing and executing compelling content strategies that drive business results.

About the Role

This is a high-profile position within our creative studio, where you will work closely with our team of talented professionals to build a brand-first, video-centric creative powerhouse. Your primary responsibility will be to create captivating content that resonates with our target audience and drives business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute content strategies that align with our brand tone and messaging.
• Collaborate with our creative team to develop campaign concepts and always-on collateral.
• Present your ideas to our Creative Director and Head of Marketing.
• Work with copywriters, designers, and videographers to create on-brand content that engages and converts.
• Deliver high-quality work on time and within deadlines.
• Review and provide feedback on copy from midweight and junior copywriters.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends and best practices in copywriting.

Requirements

• 4+ years of proven experience as a Copywriter.
• Experience using AI tools and prompt engineering.
• Leadership and mentorship experience.
• HubSpot experience.
• Agency experience is highly desirable.
• Fluency in both isiZulu and English is essential for this role.
