Job Title: Human Capital Business Partner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Human Capital Business Partner to join the Durban University of Technology. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for driving talent retention strategies, managing employee relations, and facilitating learning and development initiatives.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources management, with experience in all HR functions and a proven track record of delivering HR services. You will work closely with senior executives to provide strategic guidance and support, while also developing and implementing effective retention and attraction strategies.

Your expertise will include:

  • Talent attraction and selection process facilitation
  • Termination process management for exiting employees
  • Learning and development programme support
  • Training needs identification and coordination
  • Performance management and coaching
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • NQF Level 9 qualification in Human Resources Management or Organisational/Industrial Psychology
  • At least 8 to 10 years' demonstrable experience in all HR functions and understanding of HR value proposition strategies and processes
  • At least 5 to 8 years' experience as an HR Business Partner in a medium to large organization
  • Strong customer service orientation and ethics
  • Competence and proficiency in Human Resources systems and MS Office
