Hire Resolve's client, a well-established mining company in the Northern Cape, is seeking a skilled and experienced Section Engineer to oversee engineering activities and ensure the smooth operation of mining processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the maintenance and repair of mining equipment to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the team, participating in project planning and execution.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

  • BSc/BEng Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • GCC (Mines and Works) certification.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in the mining industry, with 5 years in opencast mining.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with a valid Drivers' License.
