Insurance Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at Alinta Tech Solutions in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional customer service, resolving inquiries, and promoting our insurance products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Sell life insurance telephonically to clients.
- Achieve sales targets and meet performance metrics.
- Adhere to Quality and Compliance processes to minimize business risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain optimal operational efficiencies based on productivity measures and process improvements.
- Adapt to changing business operational requirements and industry trends.
- Handle sales objections and provide solutions to clients.
- Build and maintain good client relationships and foster long-term partnerships.
- Stay informed about industry developments and trends through self-learning and professional development.
- Commit to meeting FAIS Fit & Proper qualification requirements and maintain a clear criminal and credit record.
- Grade 12 qualification with a strong foundation in mathematics and language.
- 3 years of experience in a Sales Outbound Call Centre, selling long-term insurance with sales targets and a proven track record of success.
- At least 1 year of experience selling life cover to unaffiliated clients in a call center and a strong understanding of sales processes and service industry.
- Minimum of 2 years of call center experience selling long-term insurance and proficiency in reading and writing in English.
- Fluency in English and one other South African official language.
- Good understanding of Financial Services Industry legislation and regulations, including FAIS and FICA.
- Understanding of sales processes and service industry, including customer relationship management and sales techniques.
- Experience in outbound sales and telemarketing, with a strong focus on customer service and relationship building.
- Clear criminal and credit record, with a commitment to maintaining a professional and ethical work environment.
- Willingness to work overtime to achieve targets and meet performance metrics.
- Fully computer literate and proficient in using technology to enhance sales and customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Effective planning and organizing, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business requirements.
- Commitment to treating clients fairly and with respect, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
