About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Quality Assurance team at Profile Data. As a Quality and Safety Engineer for Vehicles, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our automotive manufacturing processes.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing corrective actions to vehicle safety requirements and ensuring the effectiveness of these actions within Production/Field with the Service Department.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in new projects with the establishment of Product Safety to implement actions/corrective actions to vehicle safety requirements for the prevention of repeat failures using the Product Safety catalogue (lessons learnt).
  • Inspecting pre-series units with other Q-type responsible PSB's to expedite safety relevant problem recognition and corrective action implementation.
  • Undertaking regular vehicle and line checks to evaluate current production (parts, part assemblies and sub-assemblies) and obtain corrective actions for potential safety relevant problems detected.
  • Representing the Quality Assurance Department during technical discussions with Service and the Product Safety Committee.
  • Ensuring/initiating and assisting in the establishment of corrective action to resolve problems, tracking monitoring of the implementation of agreed actions, and verification of effectiveness within Production/Field with the Service Department.
